These easy apple hand pies are seriously so simple to make! Made with sweet apple filling tucked inside flaky puff pastry and finished with a delicious glaze drizzled over the top, they have all the cozy flavors of apple pie without the extra work. They're perfect for a quick fall dessert, an afternoon treat, or whenever you're craving something sweet!
Remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator and let it sit for a few minutes to soften slightly, making it easier to work with.
Unroll the puff pastry sheets and cut each sheet into 6 equal squares, for 12 squares total.
Spoon a few tablespoons of apple pie filling onto each square, then sprinkle with brown sugar.
Fold each square over to form a triangle or rectangle. Use a fork to press and seal the edges so the filling stays inside while baking.
Place the hand pies on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth and a glaze forms.
Drizzle the glaze over the cooled hand pies and serve!
