Turkey Noodle Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 cups leftover turkey
  • 16 cups water
  • 5 whole carrots
  • 5 celery spears
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 10 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 cups sliced carrots
  • 1-2 cups sliced celery
  • 16 oz egg noodles

Instructions
 

  • Remove all meat from the turkey. Shred the turkey and place in an airtight container and place in the fridge for later. Do not discard the turkey carcass.
  • In a large stock pot, add in water, turkey carcass, whole celery, carrots, garlic cloves, and chicken bouillon cubes. Cover and bring to a boil.
  • When the water begins to boil, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours, remove the turkey carcass and any bones that are in the broth along with the pieces of celery, carrots and garlic cloves and discard.
  • Slice the carrots and celery and add to the broth.
  • Add 3-4 cups shredded turkey to soup along with onion powder, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Turn to medium heat and cook until carrots and celery are soft.
  • Add in egg noodles and cook until egg noodles are soft.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
  • Enjoy!
