Steak Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. ribeye steak
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • butter
  • olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Pat dry steak with paper towels.
  • Cut steak into small bite sized pieces and season generously with olive oil, kosher salt and pepper. Set aside and let sit.
  • Preheat a frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat until pan is very hot.
  • Add 1 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil to pan.
  • Place the steak bites in the pan and don't touch them for 1-2 minutes. (this creates the golden brown crust).
  • Turn the bites and cook another 1-2 minutes on the other side until they're browned but still tender inside.
  • In the last 30 seconds, add a small pat of butter and 1 tsp minced garlic to the pan, swirling to coat the steak bites.
  • Remove from heat and let the steak bites rest for 3-5 minutes to keep them juicy and delicious.
  • Serve and enjoy!
