Spanish Rice

2 cups long grain Jasmine rice 1/8 cup oil 3 cups hot water 1 chicken bouillon cube 8 oz. tomato sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp minced garlic 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp pepper
In a large stock pot, heat oil.
Add rice to heated oil and mix until rice is well coated with oil.
Let rice cook over medium high heat for a few minutes, stirring frequently until the rice begins to turn golden brown.
Once rice is browned, add water to the rice.
Add in remaining ingredients and mix well.
When all ingredients have been added, reduce heat to a simmer and cover.
Simmer for 25-30 minutes stirring frequently.
Cook until the rice is softened, and all the liquid has been absorbed.
Remove from heat and fluff with a fork.
Serve with your favorite Mexican dish.
