This slow cooker Mississippi roast is an easy, delicious, and incredibly tender dinner that practically melts in your mouth. With simple ingredients and effortless prep, this flavorful crockpot roast is perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or a comforting family meal.
Cut the butter into 5 small squares and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the beef roast on top of the butter.
Sprinkle the au jus seasoning and ranch seasoning evenly over the roast.
Add the desired amount of pepperoncini peppers on top.
Wash and cut the potatoes and carrots into large chunks, then add them to the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours, or until the roast is fork-tender.
Remove from the slow cooker and serve.

Notes
For picky eaters or anyone sensitive to spice, you can leave out the pepperoncini peppers. They do add a mild heat to the recipe, so omitting them will keep the roast completely mild.
