Ingredients

  • 3 lb. beef chuck roast
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Seasoning
  • 1 packet Au Jus gravy mix
  • 5 red potatoes
  • 3 carrots

Optional

  • ¼ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  • Cut the butter into 5 small squares and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Place the beef roast on top of the butter.
  • Sprinkle the au jus seasoning and ranch seasoning evenly over the roast.
  • Add the desired amount of pepperoncini peppers on top.
  • Wash and cut the potatoes and carrots into large chunks, then add them to the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours, or until the roast is fork-tender.
  • Remove from the slow cooker and serve.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

For picky eaters or anyone sensitive to spice, you can leave out the pepperoncini peppers. They do add a mild heat to the recipe, so omitting them will keep the roast completely mild.
