3-4 lb. beef roast ¾ cup warm water 1 tsp beef base ½ cup balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp soy sauce 3 tbsp honey Seasonings 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder ½ tsp kosher salt ½ tsp dry mustard ½ tsp pepper
Place the beef roast in the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients and pour evenly over the roast.
In a separate small bowl, combine the seasonings, then sprinkle them evenly over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours , or until the beef is tender and easily shreds.
Once cooked, remove the roast from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
Spoon a few tablespoons of the cooking juices over the beef before serving.
