Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 lb. beef roast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tsp beef base
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place the beef roast in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients and pour evenly over the roast.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine the seasonings, then sprinkle them evenly over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shreds.
  • Once cooked, remove the roast from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  • Spoon a few tablespoons of the cooking juices over the beef before serving.
