Sloppy Joe Biscuit Bake

A wonderful twist on traditional sloppy joes. This sloppy joe biscuit bake is easy, cheesy, and uses simple ingredients that are already in your pantry or fridge. It's a delicious, quick weeknight dinner that's done in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef lean, (90/10)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 16 oz Grands Flaky Biscuits refrigerated
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and spray a 9"x9" baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a frying pan, cook ground beef until completely cooked through.
  • Add in ketchup, mustard, seasonings, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Simmer for 3-5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  • Transfer beef mixture to 9x9" baking dish and spread evenly in the bottom.
  • Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top of the beef mixture. Set aside.
  • Using kitchen shears, cut biscuit dough into bite sized pieces and layer evenly over the top of the beef and cheese mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top of the sloppy joe biscuit bake is golden brown and bubbly.
