Reese's Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

These Reese’s peanut butter Rice Krispie treats are an insanely addicting and delicious twist on traditional Rice Krispie treats. They’re a quick, no-bake dessert that's soft, chewy, and packed with peanut butter flavor, with chunks of Reese’s candy mixed into every bite.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 16 oz. marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 10 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 16 snack size Reese's peanut butter cups

Chocolate Peanut Butter Drizzle

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup peanut butter

Instructions
 

  • Chop the Reese's peanut butter cups into small pieces. Reserve one cup to sprinkle over the top and set aside.
  • In a large stockpot, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
  • Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir frequently until completely smooth and melted.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla, sweetened condensed milk, and peanut butter until well combined.
  • Add the Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
  • Stir in the chopped Reese's peanut butter cups and mix until well incorporated.
  • Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and gently press it into an even layer (avoid pressing too firmly to keep the treats soft).
  • Sprinkle the remaining Reese's peanut butter cups evenly over the top.
  • {Optional} In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring well between each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Drizzle over top of Rice Krispies.
  • Let sit for about 1 hour to set, then cut into squares and serve.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

*Get the parchment paper slightly wet, then ring it out completely. Unfold it and place it in the baking dish. This makes it easier to work with and molds to whatever dish you are working with.
