Monster Rice Krispie Treats

These monster Rice Krispies are soft, chewy, and so easy to make, making them a fun twist on classic Rice Krispie Treats for the holidays. They’re simple enough to make with the kids and easy to customize with different colors, candies, and decorations for a festive holiday treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 16 oz. marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 10 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1½ cups M&Ms
  • ¼ cup sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • In a large stockpot, melt butter over medium low heat.
  • Once butter is melted, add in marshmallows. Gently stir frequently until all marshmallows are melted.
  • Remove from heat and add in vanilla and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well combined.
  • Fold in Rice Krispie cereal and stir until well coated.
  • Add in M&Ms and sprinkles and carefully stir until well incorporated.
  • *Place parchment paper in the bottom of a 9x13" baking dish to prevent Rice Krispie treats from sticking.
  • Scrape out the mixture from the stock pot and gently press down into 9x13" baking dish.
  • Let sit 1 hour to form, then cut into squares and serve.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

*Get the parchment paper slightly wet, then ring it out completely. Unfold it and place it in the baking dish. This makes it easier to work with and molds to whatever dish you are working with.
