1 lb. ground beef (lean, 90/10) 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tbsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp kosher salt ½ tsp pepper 1 tsp sugar 8 oz. spaghetti noodles 24 oz. spaghetti sauce 1 cup cottage cheese 4 oz. cream cheese 2 cups mozzarella cheese ½ cups parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cook the noodles according to the package directions , then drain and set aside.
In a frying pan, cook the ground beef with the seasonings over medium heat until fully browned.
Stir in the spaghetti sauce and let simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and ¼ cup of parmesan cheese. Mix until well blended.
Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread half of the noodles evenly in the bottom of the dish. Layer with half of the meat sauce, then spread half of the cheese mixture on top.
Repeat the layers with the remaining noodles, sauce, and cheese mixture.
Finish by sprinkling the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
