Lazy Lasagna

Lasagna is so good but can take forever to make. Shorten up the prep time by making this delicious and savory lazy lasagna recipe! This recipe has soft ravioli noodles, tender ground beef, melted cheese and a delicious tomato-based sauce that is baked to perfection to give you all your favorite flavors of lasagna.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef lean, 90/10
  • 18 oz refrigerated ravioli noodles
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp parsley fresh

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a frying pan, add together ground beef, onion powder, minced garlic, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Cook until ground beef is completely cooked through.
  • When ground beef is cooked through, add in crushed tomatoes and turn to low heat. Simmer for 3-5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  • Spray a 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Begin layering the lazy lasagna. Add 1 cup of the sauce mixture to the bottom of the pan and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle one cup of mozzarella cheese over top of the sauce mixture.
  • Next, layer ravioli noodles over the cheese and sauce mixture.
  • Pour the remaining sauce over top of the noodles and spread evenly.
  • When fully assembled, sprinkle remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until lazy lasagna is slightly golden brown on top and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy!
