Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pepper (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Peel the carrots and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Add the carrots to a medium saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 8–10 minutes, or until the carrots are fork-tender.
  • Remove from heat and drain the water.
  • Stir in the butter and honey until the carrots are evenly coated in the glaze.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
