Homemade Crepes

Homemade crepes are our family's favorite breakfast food. Not only are they so delicious, but they're so versatile too. Make them sweet or savory, the possibilities are endless!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour

Sweet Toppings

  • whipped cream
  • fruit
  • syrup
  • jam
  • powdered sugar

Savory Toppings

  • bacon
  • sausage
  • ham
  • cheese
  • sauteed vegetables

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients.
  • Blend until well combined.
  • Refrigerate batter for at least 30 minutes. (Batter can be made up to 24 hours in advance).
  • Once the batter has been chilled, begin making crepes.
  • Heat a well-greased frying pan over medium heat. Add 1/4 cup batter to the hot frying pan and swirl around so the batter covers the entire pan.
  • Let cook for 1-2 minutes, then carefully flip with a spatula and cook the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes until slightly browned.
  • Remove crepe from heat and set aside.
  • Repeat this process until all crepes have been made.
  • Top with favorite toppings and enjoy!
