Ground Beef Tortellini

This decadent and easy ground beef tortellini recipe is going to be your favorite go-to weeknight meal. Done in less than 20 minutes and loaded with a variety of flavors, it's definitely going to be a new family favorite!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef lean, (90/10)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 20 oz 5 cheese tortellini noodles
  • 24 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese for garnishment

Instructions
 

  • In a frying pan, combine ground beef and seasonings.
  • Mix well and cook until beef is completely cooked through.
  • When beef is fully cooked, add in water and spaghetti sauce. Cover and simmer for 3-5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  • Add in heavy whipping cream and stir until well incorporated.
  • Next, add in tortellini noodles and mix well.
  • Cook uncovered for 5-8 minutes until the tortellini is soft and the sauce has thickened.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with desired amount of parmesan cheese.
  • Enjoy!
