Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf cinnamon swirl bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Toppings

  • whipped cream
  • syrup
  • jam
  • fresh fruit

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a waffle iron.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine milk, eggs and vanilla. Whisk until just combined.
  • Take a slice of bread and dip into egg mixture, coating both sides evenly but not soaking them too long to avoid sogginess.
  • Lightly spray the waffle iron with cooking spray, then place the dipped slice of bread onto the hot waffle iron and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Repeat this process until all French toast waffles have been made.
  • Top with favorite toppings and enjoy!
