Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef (lean, 90/10)
  • 28 oz. Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Tater Tots
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Fry Sauce Topping

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice

Toppings

  • shredded lettuce
  • diced tomatoes
  • pickles

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the tater tots in an even layer on the bottom of the dish and bake for 25 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp.
  • While the tater tots are baking, cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasonings and Worcestershire sauce, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Continue cooking until the beef is fully browned and cooked through; drain any excess grease if needed.
  • Remove the tater tots from the oven after 25 minutes.
  • Evenly spread the cooked beef mixture over the crispy tater tots, then sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  • Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sauce ingredients and mix until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  • Remove from the oven and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickles, and a generous drizzle of fry sauce.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
