Learn how to make this easy and delicious biscuits and gravy casserole. Loaded with tender sausage and biscuits, then topped with a creamy white gravy and baked until golden, it's perfect for those who love a hearty breakfast or brunch.
1can8 Count Pilsbury Grands Southern Style Biscuits
6eggs
2cupswhite gravy
1/2 cup milk
1cupshredded cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray.
In a frying pan, cook sausage until completely cooked.
Remove from heat and drain. Set aside.
Mix milk and eggs together and whisk until well combined. Set aside.
Cut biscuits into small bite sized pieces and layer evenly along the bottom of baking dish.
Layer the sausage evenly over top of the biscuits.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top of the biscuits and sausage layer.
Pour the egg mixture over top of the casserole. Set aside.
Make the gravy.
When the gravy is done, pour evenly over the top of the casserole. Salt and pepper to taste.
Bake for 35-45 minutes until the casserole is slightly browned on top and the eggs are completely cooked through. (I usually insert a knife into the center of the casserole to see if the eggs are set and no longer runny).
