Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef lean, 90/10
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp parsley
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp minced garlic

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients together and mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. (I like to use my hands for this).
  • Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray or place parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet and set aside.
  • Form desired sized meatballs and place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake meatballs for 15-20 minutes or until meatballs are completely cooked through. (The internal temperature should be 160 degrees F.)
  • Remove from heat and serve.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Did you know that you can make a big batch of meatballs and freeze them? I love doing this! I will usually double or triple the recipe, then I will place the meatballs on a baking sheet evenly spaced, making sure they do not touch, and then I will place them in the freezer for about an hour. When the meatballs are frozen, I will then remove them from the baking sheet and place them in a freezer friendly container or freezer Ziploc bag. Freezing them first on the baking sheet makes it so that the meatballs do not freeze together in the freezer bag.
For cooking frozen meatballs, simply take out the desired amount of meatballs and bake them at 450 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the meatballs has reached 160 degrees F. You can also cook them in a skillet or a frying pan as well.
