  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 loaf premade bread dough (see below)
  • 1/4 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • 3-6 hours before beginning dinner, remove frozen bread dough from freezer and thaw according to package directions.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a frying pan, combine ground beef, seasonings and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Continue cooking until ground beef is completely cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Lay a large piece of parchment paper down on the counter.

  • Place the dough on the parchment paper and roll out the dough into a large circle.
  • Spoon the ground beef mixture in the center of the dough leaving about 3/4" from the sides.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
  • Use a pizza cutter to cut each side of the braid into about 12 strips.
  • Fold the strips of dough gently over the filling, alternating sides until the braid is finished.
  • Transfer braid to a large baking sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until the top of the braid is golden brown.
  • Remove from heat and slice into desired sized slices.
  • Serve with favorite toppings and dipping sauce.
  • Enjoy!
