Taco Biscuit Bombs Recipe
Biscuit bombs are perhaps one of the easiest recipes that I have here on my blog. I have a few versions, and they are my kids’ favorite. You can find the cheeseburger biscuit bomb recipe here.
To sum it up, you take some refrigerated biscuit dough, roll it out and load it with taco meat and cheese. Then you wrap it up in a cute little pocket and bake it until golden brown. It’s a fun twist on taco Tuesday and requires minimal ingredients.
The Cowboys’ Rating: 9/10
Every time I make a new recipe, I have my family rate the recipe out of 10. By the time, these recipes make the blog, they’ve been tried and tested by some of my hardest tiny critics!
What Ingredients Are in Taco Biscuit Bombs?
- Ground Beef – As always, we use our own homegrown ground beef that is grass-finished and regeneratively raised. It’s delicious, lean and so good. Our ground beef is 90/10 and I never have to drain off a bunch of fat.
- Minced Garlic – My go-to ingredient for great flavor!
- Onion Powder – My second go-to ingredient for great flavor! (Everyone at my house hates onions so this is how I sneak in some extra flavor!)
- Taco Seasoning – You can use a regular taco seasoning packet or try my homemade taco seasoning. It is our family’s favorite taco seasoning. It’s not too overpowering and is packed full of flavor.
- Salsa – I like to some salsa to my ground beef to make it even yummier and more moist.
- Mexican Cheese Blend – Mexican cheese has the best cheese blend for a great flavored taco. So, I like to use the Mexican blend for this taco biscuit bomb recipe.
- Salt
- Pepper
- Pilsbury Grands Southern Homestyle Biscuit Dough – I have used a few different versions of biscuit dough, and this is the dough I like best for this recipe.

How to Store Taco Biscuit Bombs
I store these in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They can easily be microwaved, but for best results, I have found that popping them in the air fryer or back in the oven for a few minutes is better. This makes your cheeseburger biscuit bombs crisp and not soggy.
