Recipe for Stuffed Cheeseburgers
If you haven’t tried a taco burger before, let me be the first to say, you should! Taco burgers are a quick and easy dinner that fills you up! These taco burgers have a delightful kick from the taco seasoning and are then topped with some salsa, guacamole, and lettuce for the ultimate burger!

The Cowboys’ Rating: 10/10
Every time I make a new recipe, I have my family rate the recipe out of 10. By the time, these recipes make the blog, they’ve been tried and tested by some of my hardest tiny critics!
What Ingredients Are in Stuffed Cheeseburgers?
- Ground Beef – I use our delicious grass-finished beef that we raise. (You can find that here.) It’s incredibly nutrient dense and so flavorful. Our ground beef is a lean blend of 90/10. You can use any type of ground beef that you would like.
- Cheese Slices – We like to put pepper jack cheese or just regular cheddar cheese on these burgers.
- Hamburger Buns – If you have time, you can make my homemade hamburger buns which will absolutely knock these burgers out of the park!
- Toppings – Tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, etc.
seasonings
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Kosher Salt
- Pepper
- Worcestershire Sauce

Stuffed Cheeseburgers Recipe

- Form 8 equal balls and set aside.
- Preheat grill.
- Flatten each ball into a thin patty, about 1/4″ thick.
- Cut cheese into 4 even chunks and place in the center of 4 patties.
- Top each with another patty and gently pinch the edges together to seal.

- Assemble burgers and buns and serve with favorite toppings.
- Enjoy!

Gluten Free Stuffed Cheeseburgers
These stuffed cheeseburgers are naturally gluten free! It can be hard however to find gluten free buns. I have used these Franz hamburger buns. Of course they do not taste like normal hamburger buns, but they are still good for a gluten free bun. Just a tip though, I like to warm them up first before adding my burger to the bun.
Storage
Any leftover patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just reheat the patty and assemble the burgers again for leftovers.
