What Ingredients Are in Gluten Free Smash Burgers?

  • Ground Beef: I always use our homegrown ground beef. There’s nothing like it. It’s so incredibly good and packed full of nutrients. It also lean (90/10) and I never have to drain it.
  • Egg – The egg helps to keep all the ingredients in the smash burgers together.
  • Gluten Free Italian Breadcrumbs – I like to use these Aleia’s Gluten Free Italian Breadcrumbs. I found these at Walmart.
  • Ketchup – This adds just a tinge of zing to the burgers.
  • Worcestershire Sauce – First of all, is there anyone who can say this phonetically correct? Ok me either. Moving on. I love using Worcestershire with beef ingredients. It enhances the flavors and gives it depth.
  • Oil for frying – Any oil will do here. You’ll need a few tablespoons to fry up the smash burgers. I prefer beef tallow or olive oil, but you can use whatever you like.
  • Gluten Free Hamburger Buns – It can be hard time finding gluten free buns, but I have found that Franz makes a gluten free bun that tastes good. Here is the link. There are 4 to a package.

Storage

If you have left-over smash burgers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge. When you want to reheat them, of course you can microwave them but, by try the air fryer if you have one! By popping them in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at 350 degrees F. they will taste just like they came out of the oven and won’t be soggy. If you don’t have an air fryer, just pop them back in the oven at 375 degrees F until warmed through.
