Gluten Free Spaghetti Recipe

Not everyone is a spaghetti lover—I get it, because that used to be me too…until this recipe. This skillet spaghetti is anything but bland or boring, with bold, rich flavor that completely changes the spaghetti game. I truly hope this is the recipe that turns you into a spaghetti fan, especially since it’s made in one pan and ready in under 30 minutes.

This creamy skillet spaghetti is made with simple ingredients, but the flavor is next level. My secret to making it so rich and comforting is a splash of heavy whipping cream, followed by plenty of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. The result is a creamy, cheesy spaghetti that takes things from ordinary to absolutely crave-worthy in minutes.

The Cowboys’ Rating: 9/10

Every time I make a new recipe, I have my family rate the recipe out of 10. By the time, these recipes make the blog, they’ve been tried and tested by some of my hardest tiny critics!

What Ingredients Are in Gluten Free Skillet Spaghetti?

  • Ground Beef – As always, we use our own homegrown ground beef that is grass-finished and regeneratively raised. It’s delicious, lean and so good. Our ground beef is 90/10 and I never have to drain off a bunch of fat.
  • Spaghetti Sauce – Spaghetti sauce is a tricky one. I find that I have a hard time finding a spaghetti sauce I truly love, so I started canning my own spaghetti sauce a few years ago. (You can find that recipe here) The sauce makes all the difference so make sure to choose a sauce with lots of flavor.
  • Gluten Free Spaghetti Noodles – These are the gluten free spaghetti noodles that I use for this recipe. Barilla Gluten Free Spaghetti Noodles
  • Mozzarella Cheese – Every recipe is better with a little cheese, so I like to add some mozzarella cheese.
  • Parmesan Cheese – Parmesan cheese has a distinct, rich flavor that I love so I add that too.
  • Heavy Whipping Cream – Heavy whipping cream adds that rich creaminess to the spaghetti but also cuts the acidity of the spaghetti sauce to make all the flavors blend perfectly.
