Easy Broccoli Beef Recipe

I know there are lots of different recipes on the internet for broccoli beef but if you’re looking for a simple, easy and delicious broccoli beef recipe, THIS is the recipe you want to use. Just the sauce alone will have you wanting to lick your bowl clean.

I used to also use a special Thai rice noodle, but one night I went to make this recipe, and I realized I had none. So, in my desperation, I grabbed a few bags of Ramen noodles and threw them in. And you know what? We loved it even more than the regular noodles! This recipe truly is the best not only because it’s delicious, but because it has simple ingredients.

Every time I make a new recipe, I have my family rate the recipe out of 10. By the time, these recipes make the blog, they’ve been tried and tested by some of my hardest tiny critics!

What Ingredients Are in Easy Broccoli Beef?

  • Sirloin Steak – Sirloin steak is a great lean steak that is perfect for this broccoli and beef recipe.
  • Ramen Noodles – Simple Ramen noodles are the star noodle of the show here. I like to keep things simple.
  • Broccoli – I have found that using fresh broccoli for this recipe is best.
  • Minced Garlic – Asian or Mongolian recipes have lots of flavor that I love. Garlic is a major flavor in these recipes, so I made sure to add in some minced garlic.
  • Ginger Paste – I don’t use a whole lot of ginger in my everyday cooking, so I buy this ginger paste and store it in the freezer. Anytime that I need ginger for my recipes, I just pull this out, use the amount I need, and then pop it back in the freezer.
  • Olive Oil – I use olive oil to fry up the steak.
  • Sesame Oil – Sesame oil is also very popular in Asian and Mongolian recipes. It is made from sesame seed and has a very distinct flavor.
  • Pepper
  • Beef Broth – Beef broth is the base of the sauce.
  • Soy Sauce – Soy sauce add flavor and depth to the sauce.
  • Brown Sugar – To combat the tang of the soy sauce and add a little sweetness, I like to add a little brown sugar to the sauce.

Gluten Free Easy Broccoli Beef

Let’s talk gluten free here! This recipe can easily be adapted to make it gluten free. I have not yet found some gluten free ramen noodles that I like, so I use the Thai rice noodles and prepare them according to the package instructions. I then will add them to the recipe.

You do also need to check your soy sauce. Soy sauce contains wheat which contains gluten, therefore, you would need to find a gluten-free soy sauce. This would make this recipe completely gluten free! Below is the link to a gluten free soy sauce that I use frequently.
