What Ingredients are in Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispie Treats?
- Fruity Pebbles Cereal – I like to buy the big family size bag of Fruity Pebbles because I have 4 boys. By the time I get around to making these, half the bag is gone already.
- Vanilla – I prefer to use pure vanilla rather than vanilla extract. It has a richer flavor rather than the flavor you get with vanilla extract.
- Salted Butter
- Marshmallows – This is a controversial topic, but I don’t think it matters if you use mini marshmallows or large marshmallows. Either will work just fine.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk – This is my secret ingredient to the softest Rice Krispie treats ever. I promise it’s not overwhelmingly sweet.

Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispie Treats Recipe
- In a large stockpot, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
- Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir frequently until completely smooth and melted.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and sweetened condensed milk, until well combined.
- Add the Fruity Pebbles cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
- Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and gently press it into an even layer (avoid pressing too firmly to keep the treats soft).
- Let sit for about 1 hour to set, then cut into squares and serve.
- Enjoy!
*Tips and tricks*
Get the parchment paper slightly wet, then ring it out completely. Unfold it and place it in the baking dish. This makes it easier to work with and molds to whatever dish you are working with.
