What Ingredients Are in Cilantro Ranch Dressing?

  • Milk – I have found that using whole milk gives the best results for this recipe.
  • Mayonnaise – The base of all ranch dressing is mayonnaise.
  • Lime Juice – Lime juice is acidic and also a bit tangy, so it brings some flavor and tanginess to this dressing.
  • Hidden Valley Ranch Packet – I have used many different ranch dressing packets for this recipe and I have found that Hidden Valley has the best flavor.
  • Minced Garlic – Minced garlic gives this cilantro ranch dressing a bold flavor that I love so much.
  • Fresh Cilantro – You can’t have cilantro ranch dressing without the cilantro. Make sure it’s fresh though. The dried cilantro doesn’t work for this recipe.
  • Herdez Green Salsa Verde – Any green salsa Verde will do but this kind is my personal favorite. It’s a tomatillo-based salsa so it has a completely different flavor than the red salsa. It’s not too overpowering but adds flavor as well.
