Weeknights can be intense at our house. Not only do we have ranch life sending us all different directions, but my kids are at the age where they are now involved in after-school activities. And holy moly, I thought my life was busy before after-school activities… I regret thinking that. So now, I add this bacon cheeseburger pasta to my rotation because I can make this in under 30 minutes and dinner is a success.

What Ingredients Are in Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta?

  • Penne Pasta – This is our favorite pasta to use because my kids love it and it cooks really quickly.
  • Ground Beef – As always, good beef is always the star of the show. I always, always use our homegrown beef that is lean 90/10 (and I never have to drain it).
  • Onion Powder – Onion powder gives this cheeseburger pasta some robust flavor without being too overpowering.
  • Garlic Powder – I also use a lot of garlic powder in my recipes. I love flavorful food, and garlic powder helps bring in some intense flavor that I love. Using garlic powder compliments the other ingredients in the recipe as well.
  • Tomato Soup – I like using condensed tomato soup in this recipe because it gives it a subtle tomato flavor that is sweet and not intense.
  • Bacon – Because adding bacon is always a good idea.
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese – I will always tell you to add cheese as well. Thank you dairy farmers. Cheddar cheese pairs nicely with the pasta and ground beef.
  • Salt
  • Pepper
