Snickers Rice Krispie Squares
This is going to be bold, I know, but of all the desserts that I make, I have been dubbed the Rice Krispie Queen. My current Homemade Rice Krispie Treats recipe is the number one recipe on my site and has been for years. It has a secret ingredient that makes them extra soft – and better than any rice Krispie treat you’ve ever tasted. With that being said, I wanted to make a few variations of Rice Krispie treats that are both fun and ridiculously delicious, so I developed this recipe for Snickers Rice Krispie treats.
And let me tell you… this version does not disappoint. We’re taking everything you already love about my extra-soft, gooey Rice Krispie treats and leveling them up with chopped Snickers, melted chocolate, and a drizzle of caramel for that perfect sweet-and-salty combo. They’re rich, chewy, and completely over-the-top in the best way—basically the kind of dessert that disappears the second you set the pan down.
The Cowboys’ Rating: 10/10
Every time I make a new recipe, I have my family rate the recipe out of 10. By the time, these recipes make the blog, they’ve been tried and tested by some of my hardest tiny critics!
What Ingredients are in Snickers Rice Krispie Treats?
- Rice Krispie Cereal – I’m not too picky when it comes to choosing the cereal for this treat. I usually just buy the generic brand crisp rice cereal.
- Vanilla – I prefer to use pure vanilla rather than vanilla extract. It has a richer flavor rather than the flavor you get with vanilla extract.
- Salted Butter
- Marshmallows – This is a controversial topic, but I don’t think it matters if you use mini marshmallows or large marshmallows. Either will work just fine.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk – THIS IS THE SECRET INGREDIENT TO SOFT RICE KRISPIES. Sorry for shouting there, but don’t skip out on this key ingredient. It makes the softest, chewiest, most divine rice Krispie treats you’ve ever had.
- Snickers – (Obviously)
- Caramel – This is important… Do not get the caramel syrup. Get the thick, delicious, real caramel topping. The kind that is the best on ice cream. That is the kind you need my friend.

*Tips and tricks*
Get the parchment paper slightly wet, then ring it out completely. Unfold it and place it in the baking dish. This makes it easier to work with and molds to whatever dish you are working with.

Storage and Freezer Directions
Storage:
Store Snickers Rice Krispie Treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3–4 days. For best texture, place parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking and keep them extra soft.
Freezing:
Did you know you can freeze rice Krispie treats? Just wrap them in individual squares tightly in plastic wrap, then place in a freezer-safe container or bag for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving. (Keep in mind the caramel may soften slightly after freezing, but they’ll still taste delicious.)
