Creamy Coleslaw Recipe
I have to say that I was absolutely NOT a fan of coleslaw until this recipe. My sweet sister-in-law brought this recipe with her to a family gathering and I was so impressed by it that I asked it I could share it with all of you! I think you’ll love it too. This creamy coleslaw recipe is now a favorite to add with any BBQ recipes I make. It’s especially good over the top of my slow cooker BBQ beef which you can find here.
The Cowboys’ Rating: 8.5/10
Every time I make a new recipe, I have my family rate the recipe out of 10. By the time, these recipes make the blog, they’ve been tried and tested by some of my hardest tiny critics!
What Ingredients Are in Creamy Coleslaw?
- Coleslaw Mix – Coleslaw mix has a mixture of both red and green cabbage and carrots that are thinly sliced. It comes in a 16 oz. (1lb) bag at most grocery stores.
- Mayonnaise – This is the base of the dressing.
- White Vinegar – Vinegar gives the coleslaw that tang that we love!
- Sugar – As previously mentioned, coleslaw is tangy so adding some sugar adds not only flavor but a hint of sweetness as well.
- Lemon Juice – Lemon juice enhances the flavors in the coleslaw.
- Salt
- Pepper
